Bet some of you have been wondering where is this girl? well since spring has been cancelled i.e no sunshine in this place called England, I thought I'd help myself to some sunshine. So I've been on holiday to the Algarve.
It was actually their winter! but not to worry it was still warm, i mean like 12, 13,14 up to 17 degrees. How is that winter? Every one was wearing their jackets and i couldn't help but chuckle cos it was warrrrrmmmmm for me considering where i was coming from 0 up to -2 degrees!
Anyways I had fun out there. Lovely people and food too! Here are some of the pictures
They also have a Lagos there, apparently they named our Lagos. They don't pronounce it like we do, La'goosh or something like that.
I've been back a week but been so busy at work now i don't feel like i have been away at all and i am so ready for another break........any takers? for an all expenses paid trip......I wont say no!
It was my birthday last friday and guess what, it was celebrated in the snow!

Fire + Face..... Please do not try this at home
What will women not do to look young!
Check out this video from China
According to daily mail, the therapists apply a towel soaked in alcohol and a so-called 'special elixir' to the skin before setting fire to the area. Large flames lick up and spread quickly around the area where the elixir has been applied. Huffington Post in America claims, the treatment 'stimulates the skin and addresses dullness, sagging and wrinkles', while other reports say it can cure everything from obesity to the common cold. Please don't ask me how. So you face is bound in what look like towels and flannels while a thick unguent will be applied to your skin.
The salon says this is a perfectly safe treatment when performed carefully by a trained therapist and that thanks to the application of the elixir, the skin should be warmed, not burned. So for those of you constantly looking for the hottest new beauty treatments to stay young, you know where to go.
You berra hit the gym!

Manchester United - bad loosers
So I hear Sir Alex Ferguson is in trouble with UEFA following his reaction to the defeat last night......
Bad sportsmanship. Times when matches favored them red devils, no one heard a word from them o, just this one time Nani was sent off, we no go hear word.
UEFA has already released a statement insisting it had no issues regarding Cakir (Referee)'s performance.
Get over it Man U fans, you are out for good, end of!
I am not a fan, as u can probably tell.....:)

Dame Patience Jonathan ooo
I was sitting jeje in my very own living room watching my own television
and with my own hand changed the channel to BEN TV, and guess what was on?
Bisi Olatilo show- Hakeem Shagaya's wedding! They were about to cut the cake
and yours truly Dame was invited to coordinate the cutting of the cake.
Are you ready?
"Today is all of us a happiest day..... we are all going JOY cos i want this marriage to fill with endless joy and at the end of the last word of joy, we will cut the cake"Ha this is meant to be our first lady o......i have heard people yabbing this woman but my argument was always, English is not our first language, please allow her! i honestly didn't realize it was this bad. Can they not just employ someone to teach her basic English? or better still attach some headphone to her at all times and someone can be on the other end of the phone and she can repeat what they say to her? This one pass me o.
Happy new year
