Baby born with a pair of teeth

Ok, i've never heard this before. It usually takes a few months before a baby starts teething and its usually associated with a fever, diarrhea and a few other different symptoms before a tooth appears.

This cute little baby girl is an exception. Newborn Imogen Elliot, from South Wales, was born with a pair of pearly whites in her lower jaw - to the amazement of her mother, Stacey Lewis, 24.

This happened in China according to daily mail. A woman heard cries of a baby coming from inside a toilet pipe and she called the emergency services.

President Obama Again

Was it not just last week  that I read something about Obama forcing US Marine Corporals to hold umbrellas for him.

Ok not just for him, the Turkish Prime Minister was there as well. 

The American people were going on about how Obama was disrespectful to those guys by asking them to hold brollies! Please what could he have done? Held it himself? Address press in the "light" rain?  They said he made the Marines look like a butler. Ok one of his aides could have held it for him right?

As if that was not enough.........

Yesterday again president Obama was under fire was "blanking" another US marine. He was about to board the presidential helicopter and was saluted by a marine corporal, but he walked past him without returning his salute.

He however returned salute to the marine corporal in the cabin as seen in the image below

 After he got into the chopper, realizing he did not salute the marine corporal, he came back out to "salute" him but then again, the press have it that he didn't even let the marine corporal finish the salute before he shook his hand and talk to him instead and  of course that is disrespectful too!

Somebody please enlighten me o, the man has a lot on his mind, she salute la fe je ni? I know it means a lot to the Americans but this man to me is working hard. He was probably thinking about the meeting he was attending.
If he is slow in doing things, like keeping the press waiting because of the rain or saluting the marine corporals or talking to people while he was meant to be boarding, people will still talk, abeg free this man jor.

I Still Love Nigeria

This is not my write up, it was sent to me as one of those broadcast messages. Just thought i'd share :)

Nigerians all over the world should speak out and condemn the beheading of a Citizen yesterday in UK. The beheading was done by a British Citizen and not a Nigerian as speculated his name doesn't confirm his nationality. This lunatic was born in the United Kingdom, never been to Nigeria, issued a birth certificate in the UK and holds a British passport. Suddenly he is now a Nigerian! This guy is not a Nigerian. British born Micheal Mujahid Adebolaja with Accomplice yesterday beheaded a British soldier on a street in Woolwich London. Because he is not Gabriel Agbonlahor

playing for Aston Villa and Three Lions or Andrew Osagie, UK's reigning 800m champion or Lawrence Okoye, British Discus Record Holder or Abiodun Oyepitan

British Olympic Silver and Gold medalist or Christine Ohuruogu Beijing Olympic Gold medalist or Eniola Aluko British Olympic Female football star or Temi Fagbenle,

 British Olympic Basketball queen or several other thousands of  British citizens with Nigerian connection who are making the country proud, it is being make to look like Nigeria has "shown itself again" in the action of the British boy who beheaded a soldier yesterday. Nigeria should just be left out of this.  Please pass on to educate the ignorant ones.


My own is this, fact that this is not our land, either we like it or not we are foreigners here so anything "we" will be blown out of proportion, bad ones i mean. The good one will be praised but of course bad news travel faster. The media will always be biased against us, more reason we should be good reps of our country wherever we are.

I hope the world out there knows that all Nigerians are not the same.  Treat people as individuals and not with prejudice.

Tributes to Lee Rigby - The British Soldier killed by Nigerian Jihadists

The victim of yesterday's murder has been named as Lee Rigby. He was 25, married to Rebecca in 2007  with a 2 year old son  called Jack .
He was described as a true hero who was lovely and would do anything for anyone.

The soldier Lee Rigby survived the war in Afghanistan only to come home and be killed by some sad people in broad day light on the streets of London.

The two murderers both of Nigerian descents were known to the security services MI5. Micheal Adebolajo has been known to them for a decade according to the news. He has a documented history with them some time ago but was assessed as not being a serious threat.  Same Adebolajo tried to travel to Somalia to join some Islamic group but was not allowed. Micheal  was born to a devout Christian family but converted into Islamism.  Wonder what changed?  Here is a picture of him in 2007 while he was with  the hate preacher Anjem Choudary at a demonstration in Central London.

 He was even  preaching last week on the streets on London according to the BBC news.
I don't know anything about his mum but his dad lives in a village in Lincolnshire and his house has been raided today by  the police. Dad apparently works with the NHS as a nurse. Micheal was moved from Romford when his parents were worried he was becoming radicalized. Think it was too late. His accomplice has not been named yet but is believed to be a Nigerian as well.

Well Rest in Peace Lee, God will comfort your family, friends and colleagues.

As for the killers, I hope you recover from gun wounds quickly so you can say exactly why you did this.

London Murder Update- Nigerian Jihadist involved

Oh well, my fear has just been confirmed!
One of the murderers has just been confirmed as a Nigerian Jihadist!

Those are just shots from the news taken using my phone.

Now mosques in Essex and Kent are being attacked since this incident happened. 2 more people have been arrested.  The Muslim Council of Britain condemns the attacks for sure......
Section 60 is now in place on the streets of Woolwich, it means police can stop and search anyone.
I suggest you stay in your houses. I worry about black people that live in British populated areas, do not go out at night or alone. People are angry and I'm afraid it will get worse.

London Murder, Islamic /Terrorist Attack?

Got back from work today and just thought I'd chill for a while. I eventually got online, on facebook and a friend uploaded a 2 minute video on his page about something that just happened in Woolwich, South East London and police shooting and I just thought oh another London murder. ( Not like its a routine but it happens).

I tuned into the 6pm news later on BBC one and lo and behold, breaking news.

From what I've heard and seen on TV, 2 black guys attacked a guy that was dressed in a teeshirt with something like "help for heroes" written on it. They think he is a serving soldier because he was close to the Army base in Woolwich. Basically these two black guys drove into him and started attacking him. As in butchering him like ..........an animal while shouting "Allahu Akbar".

As soon as they killed him, one of them with bloody hands, walked to the cameras and said something like "he apologizes that women and children had to see this but in their land,  their women have to see the same.  You people will never be safe remove the government they don't care about you"!

They even waited for the police to arrive.......Why? When the police got there they tried to engage the police in a fight and the police had to shoot them. Jeeeeez what is this freaking world turning into?

I wonder which land they came from and I am honestly praying that they ain't from Nigeria....ooooh God please let this not be related to what is happening in Nigeria at the moment.

This is someone's child, a serving soldier, a war hero for crying out loud!  What could he have done to deserve to die in this manner?

I don't know about you but I'm tired of all these bad news, it was tornado in Oklahoma yesterday natural disaster killing innocent children and adults

and today its some people trying to fight for whatever it is they are fighting for.

Lord please have mercy, if only I can be Evan Almighty  for a day!

For the records, David Cameron Prime Minister has called his meeting short in Paris today and is returning home to try and sort this out. Goodluck Jonathan take note.

Now the union jack is everywhere, the English Defence League supporters (Like OPC, they protect British culture and heritage, they do not like Islamism and Sharia) are protesting on the streets of London. Hope this will not even turn into another big riot.

Well this particular girl Tintswalo Ngobeni now 22 left Swaziland when the king started bothering her at a very young age of 15.

Now she is in the UK trying to file for Asylum. I know there is something called tradition o but parading naked girls like this every year in the name of choosing a bride is nothing but ridiculous. As much as I dislike Nigeria, (not as a county.....u know what i mean)  I'm pleased I wasn't born in countries like this.

Now in Birmingham, UK, she won't dare go back to Swaziland or she will be killed. She has been protesting against the Swazi culture i suppose and according to the Daily mail, they have sent people to look for her to probably kill or kidnap her. Now the UK government have denied her asylum plea in 2011 and she was taken to the detention center last month after she had been reporting to authorities for the past 18 months.

Well if they can keep Abu Qatadar in this country for that long, you stand a chance............ Good luck. 

Nigerian President Declares a State of Emergency

 I don't why i switched my TV to BEN TV tonight but I'm glad I did.

Finally finally, our president, sorry their president Goodluck, "badluck" Jonathan declares a state of emergency in 3 Northern states in Nigeria- Borno, Yobe and Adamawa.

After series, I mean series of cruel, deadly, wicked attacks on innocent people by Islamic group "Boko Haram"! the president finally comes to his senses and takes charge of the situation.

Now for those who do not understand what this means, if there is state of emergency there will be no governing powers anymore. (My thoughts) As in the states will be taken over/ manned by the military which means all those riffraff are in trouble.

Now I pray those military guys will do their jobs. Nigerian soldiers are still very respected even in Africa. So please do your jobs and bring some sanity to the North. Enough of shedding of innocent blood, its gone on for too long.

I'm still watching the program.....

Ruben Abati, Special Adviser to the president on Media and publicity just said on NTA news that there is no where in the Nigerian constitution where it says the Governor has no say when it comes to this declaration.

He said the governor can even request for it.
So these states still have their own functioning governors.

Now i dont  even know what to think.
I can only wait like everyone else to see how it goes.

Guess Who

I love it when people have a good sense of humor. You can guess who this is can't you?
Its the one and only Richard Branson, the Virgin Millionaire.
Doesnt he just look cute......not. lol

Branson had a grandprix bet with AirAsia 's boss Fernandes who use to work for him before setting up his own budget airline.

So he lost the bet and had to dress up as one of AirAsia hostess! A unique one though, cos he did everything else apart from shaving his beard. He even shaved his legs (Company policy), check out his lipstick and his pout attempt.

He had to work as a flight attendant on a 6hour flight from Perth to Kuala lumpur, where he served food and drinks to guests.

Imagine being served by Richard Branson. I will just keep pressing the buzzer and make him work hard for the money i paid for that ticket. ( wishful thinking) Goodness knows how  much the flight would have costed!
Good thing is all the money made from that flight went to a charity. Good job Mr Branson.

Nigeria has a looooong way to go

So on my way to Nigeria, i flew KLM, economy of course! shuttle flight sef, that's what i could afford.

I sat down jeje with my husband and these kids in blue tee shirts and jumpers started coming. The oldest of them wont be more than 15 years old.  Guess where they were coming from? Switzerland! A school trip. One of many i suppose.

Now i know there are rich peeps in Nigeria but these kids are mega rich and i wont be surprised if they are politicians children. Apart from their tee shirts and sweat shirts that are same, everything else these kids had on were all designers, and most of them had their Ipads, Ipods, Iphones, Beats by Dre headsets.  I was gobsmacked!

They filled a whole cabin!

I knew the inequality in Nigeria was bad but I wasn't expecting this. They all look so posh and polished. There were some non Nigerian kids there too. I had to assume their parents are expats in Nigeria. They have Nigerian accents infact!

I can just imagine how much their school fees will be. Millions of Naira I bet.
So these kids will finish school and kids from some government high school will be applying for jobs? I don't think so, the gap will be way to wide. This trip is one of many trips . These kids are exposed, they've been to different countries. An average Nigerian kid won't even go past their state let alone get a passport/visa and travel to another country!

Well enough of my ranting. I knew there were school like this in Nigeria but was still very much surprised by what i saw.........

What happened to equal opportunities? The amount of money that country makes in a day is more than how much Great Britain makes in a week but yet it never goes round. God dey o.
