Is Nigeria this bad?

This is getting even  more serious!

Another Nigerian, a lady (May Brown, 19 years old) this time took over dose because she was going to be deported from the UK to Nigeria.

According to daily mail, she came into the UK as a college student and when her visa ran out, she applied for asylum because she didn't want to go back to Nigeria where she witnessed her fathers death and was subjected to sexual abuse.   While she was a student she met her husband and they got married. Her mother in law found her in the bathroom and took her to the hospital.

In the suicide note she left for her husband, she said

"I am deeply sorry that I had to go this way, without even saying goodbye.

'The UK immigration has finally driven me insane. They've pushed me too far this time and I can't take the pain any more. 'I don't want a life or a future you won't be part of. I love you so
much, more than life itself and can't endure the agony of not being with  you.
'Please forgive me for ending it this way. It's better to die with my dignity than be subjected to torture and undignified death back in Nigeria".

So now she prefers to die rather than go to Nigeria.

Is Nigeria really that BAD.

You know i've been considering a change of nationality.......lol
Its hard cos i am black and really is there any African country that i can claim? Been thinking hard but cant find one. I cant speak any other language so can't claim any European one either,  so i'm basically stuck with being a Nigerian!

On a more serious note, I know people that will become criminals rather than return to Nigeria but to the extent of taking your own life......that one pass me.

Is it really that serious?

Barcelona demolished by the Germans

Bayern Munich thrashed Barcelona 4-0 tonight!
 Unbelievable but a fantastic display by Bayern but will you agree that they benefited from very dubious decisions by the refereeee!

Poor Messi he looked so unhappy, blame the hamstring injury not yourself.

Well I have a Barcelona fan in this house and he doesn't seem bothered at the moment. I can bet you that conversation will come out soon.

The tie is not yet over, the return leg will be at Camp Nou next Wednesday so we'll see.

Blooming Duchess

Well its finally looking like spring where i live and the sun is coming out and so are the flowers blooming.

One person is certainly blooming with the weather this year and that is the one and only duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton. She is six months pregnant and she is bloooooming. Looking radiant as usual.
I remember when she was admitted to the hospital for a cute morning sickness......What did people not say?
not sure what we were all expecting really!  she had an "a-cute" morning sickness not just "morning sickness" like most people, hers is cute. lol.
I don't know whether to count her as lucky for carrying a heir to the throne cos her life is just always in the press. poor girl or shall i say rich girl cos that is what she is really.

Wow, only just seeing this! Was on call last night, Mehn it was my worse shift ever! Glad its done now sha. Wetin woman go do! We must chop na.
Anyways back to the story.

3 girls (CEO Dancers) went on Britain's Got Talent and danced to 2 Nigerian songs! BGT is a talent show. Whoever wins performs in front of the British Royal Family at the Royal Variety Performance as well as win £500,000.
Well I don't know if the queen will find this interesting but  I'm well impressed. Watch the look on Simon Cowell's face when they started dancing to Single Ladies by Beyonce......it was like oh we've seen this before but when Iyanya's Kukere came on and the girls started moving! Their face light up like.....wow!

Alesha Dixon bless her! She's probably heard one of the songs before but she clearly identifies with her own people. David Walliams was moving/shaking toooo LOL. Amanda.....not sure what to do with herself.
