Mehn I just lost all the respect I had for this man.
Adams Oshiomole was the National Labour Congress president for a while before he became a politician and now serving his 2nd term as Edo state governor.
You'd think a person like him will have a heart for people but heck no.
A widow was hawking on the road side on an Environmental Sanitation day which is illegal in Edo State. This woman knelt crying in front of him and begging him not to seize her small means of livelihood and Oshiomole told her to "go and die"! How wicked, callous and heartless is that?
Why am I surprised! politicians don't really care about people do they, if they did Nigeria won't be as bad as it is now. I don't support people breaking laws but just punish them and let them go but using words like that is even worse than the goods seized!
If anyone knows this woman, someone is promising her $500 to start a new business on Nairaland, (Payless on page 1) and another (EBK2 pg 2) promising to 50,000 Naira to the person who finds who this woman. Even my own better half is promising money to this woman.
See the video below
Please please please please get in touch if you know this woman

He spoke without thinking. He said a terrible thing to that woman, but to be honest, she knew what she was doing was illegal. I understand that she is a widow, but being a widow does not give anybody the rights to special treatment. I feel like our sense of entitlement in Nigeria is really clouding our judgements and decisions.
@ The Nigerian, Its quite obvious she was wrong, no one was disputing that, neither was i saying gov was wrong to seize her goods. We are all saying the same thing, words. She isn't entitled to anything for being wrong, if he didn't use those words, this wont get in the news. Its all gone now, cos its been sorted and hopefully other politicians will learn.
