Are Nigerians Unfair on President Jonathan?......

I was sat quietly with my dinner tonight with the TV on in the background and I stumbled over this program on Ben TV, POLITRIKS with Ogundamisi and two other guys,One is for Jonathan and One against.
Loads of people have been calling and expressing their views.

People were saying if you can't take the heat in the kitchen get out of the kitchen. So basically he got to be the president by luck and not that he merited it. Also he is inexperienced for the office of the President, that his wife is more assertive than he is.

People are saying Nigeria is so blessed but people can not manage the resources.
They said he promised so many things but did not deliver any of his promises. Things like tackling corruption and electricity in 2 year. So He has not been accountable and taking responsibility.

Ok me I don't know too much about politics but I know is that during  Obasanjo's regime, he  had a hold of his government, It was when he was in power that we had GSM in Nigeria. He brought biz!

 He told GSM to come and invest  that he will give  them 3 year tax free, well did it work?

Of course it did, the like of MTN, Airtel, Globacom won't be here today if not for Him.

 He also tried tackling the major problem in Nigeria which is corruption! He started EFCC to rebuild or should I say save Nigeria's face abroad.

And you can say if it has worked or not. I think its working.

Babangida in his times, what can you say he achieved? Ok  SAAP Structural Agricultural Adjustment Program or whatever its called was a means to steal money. Where are they today?

Abacha in his times, stole money.
Abdul Salami Abubakar, I can't remember anything he did, neither can I remember what Yar Adua achieved.

Jonathan has a personality problem, he is no assertive enough as a president.  I mean, have you ever heard him speak? He sounds so thick!
 He claimed he knew people behind Boko Haram but he still didn't do nought about it. How can there be a bomb blast in a major Nigerian city and the president of the country does not come out in a few hours or the office of the president release a statement, who does that ! Only president Jonathan.
Another  example is electricity.
He stripped NEPA into almost 15 companies, PHCN this this and that with no mandate like if you want to buy this company you have to achieve this in the first three months......how do you expect them to perform? Nigerians need to be told what to do.

Nigeria as in the whole of Nigeria generates 5000 MW of electricity which is probably only enough to power the city of Lagos. So how is this expected to go through  all other 35 states in Nigeria? Its just not going to work. If you are really going to sort out electricity problem in Nigeria, you need to make sure we are generating more electricity ! Its not rocket science, but corruption will not let us!

Any government that sorts out electricity problem in Nigeria will be praised and never be forgotten. Think about it nothing can work without electricity, businesses are not working as they are supposed to, there are too many people dying in hospitals but government don't care because their own relatives are not involved!
Imagine how long ASUU strike lasted for? 5 months, over money, imagine how much Nigeria is making in revenue from oil! If all Nigerians are paid from the money Nigeria makes from oil and gas, Nigerian will be millionaires but guess what, corrupt people in high places will not let it happen.

So Is President Jonathan  a waste of space or not?
