U need to read this

Its monday morning and i have this very boring lecturer for about 3 hours, i've been thinking how will i cope even before i go to the class. I also came in late.....not that late, just about 5 mins and they havent really started.... dnt ask me why i was late.....too complicated....lol

Well this lecturer, as expected was boring and considering the fact that i slept late last night, i was so so tired but i had to stay awake just to listen to him. He said something that made me awake....... As u might probably know, i'm a radiography student and i have been on placement.

As a good practice, we give people changing gowns when we are taking xrays of the chest or any xray that require patients to take their clothes off. That is the norm here, but my lecturer today, bless him said a colleague of his that couldnt find a job in the UK went to Holland and when he came back to the UK, he brought back this story about not giving patient changing gowns........ And i was like whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? where is protecting a patient's dignity?

If that happens in the UK, OMG, u dont want to knw what will happen.I dont even want to imagine it. lol
Calling a patient from the waiting room, bringing them to the cubicle, and watching them walk bare chested to the xray room......especially if they are femalessssssssss..........

There will be a proper outcry, cos some patients even complain about the quality of changing gowns let so u can imagine if they done have one at all.
I will be researching African countries, as in how they do their xray, whether they do it bare chested as well but i really cant remember seeing one done bare chested in Nigeria.... I have had a couple done b4 but i just took my top off when i was infront of the xray machine not in a cubicle and then walking to the xray room...

Right, lunch break is finished, gtg back to class.....see u later

lol....i'd be surprised as well if they do it bare chested in Nigeria.

I know it will be unacceptable.Quite a lot of guys will not allow their wives to go for a chest xray...lol
